HeyMonitor.io is a simple, privacy-friendly uptime monitoring service for APIs and websites. We check your services at regular intervals and alert you when something goes wrong.

Sign up for a free account, add your first monitor by entering your website or API URL, choose your check interval, and set up your alert preferences. You'll be monitoring in less than 2 minutes.

No! Our free plan doesn't require a credit card. You can monitor 1 URL with 5-minute checks completely free, forever.

We offer 1-minute, 3-minute, and 5-minute check intervals. The free plan includes 5-minute intervals, while the Pro plan gets access to the faster 1-minute and 3-minute intervals.

When a check fails, we re-check about 30 seconds later to avoid false alarms. If it still fails, we send one alert through your configured channels (email on all plans; webhook and Discord on Pro). We keep checking and notify you again the moment your service comes back online — one alert per incident, no spam.

We send a normal GET request and follow redirects. Any response with a status code below 400 counts as up. Error responses (4xx/5xx), timeouts, DNS failures, and connection or TLS errors count as down.

We perform HTTP/HTTPS requests to your URLs, measure response time, and keep the full downtime history of every monitor.

The free plan includes 1 monitor, 5-minute check intervals, and email alerts. It's perfect for personal projects and testing.

Pro costs €5/year and includes 5 monitors, 1-minute and 3-minute check intervals, email + webhook + Discord alerts, and priority support. Need more monitors? Each extra monitor is just €1/year.

Yes! On Pro you can add as many extra monitors as you want for €1/year each. For example, 10 monitors cost €10/year and 25 monitors cost €25/year in total.

Pro renews automatically once a year through our payment provider Mollie. You can cancel auto-renewal anytime from your dashboard — your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your extra monitors are paused (never deleted) if you downgrade.

Payments are processed securely by Mollie. Depending on your country you can pay with credit/debit card, PayPal, and other popular methods.

We support email (all plans), plus custom webhooks and Discord (Pro plan). You can configure multiple alert channels per monitor.

When downtime is detected (and again on recovery), we send a POST request to your webhook URL with a JSON body describing the incident: the monitor, the event (down/up), when it started or ended, and the reason. You can use this to integrate with your own systems.

Not yet — every monitor alerts once when it goes down and once when it recovers, which covers most needs without spamming you. More alerting options may come later.

All data is stored in EU-based servers. We're operated by HeyTech Digital B.V. and comply with GDPR regulations.

No, we only store metadata like response times, status codes, and uptime statistics. We never store the actual content of your monitored pages.

Yes, all data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We follow industry best practices for security and privacy.

All checks run from our EU-based infrastructure.

Not yet — monitors are managed from your dashboard. A public API may come later.

Our checker runs on our own EU infrastructure and recovers automatically if it is ever briefly interrupted — checks simply resume where they left off.
